One client described AJ as “the calm voice of reason” because she asks questions and gently challenges the client to keep their goals in mind as they explore new ways of managing their "stuff".  She understands the difficult process of going through items that have emotional attachment, or items that haven’t been seen in years, but she tries to make the session upbeat and fun.  Inevitably, the client says something positive at the end of a session like, “Everything looks so much better!”, or “I couldn’t have done this on my own,” and is eager to learn new habits and routines to maintain their new environment and to not allow the clutter to control their lives again.
